The Light of the Past:

Come walk with me in the cover of the night,

You and I; together we stare into the darkness and bear witness to the light.

The sky teems with the twinkling of forgotten eyes,

They are the ones who have heard every lie.

They are the ones who have seen our every breath,

They are the ones who will witness our death.

They are the ones who saw our every first kiss,

They are the ones who have felt our every wish.

The Earth is our present,

The Heavens our past,

Our Heart contains our future, the things that have not yet come to pass.

Forever our love will endure and last,

While we wish for our future upon the light of the past.
