A word of wisdom to my 20 year old self (Inspired by Karen Walrond)
While reading on Karen Walrond's website there was a blog entry about what advice would you give your 20 year old self. The following is what I posted.
I would tell my 20 year old self the following.
Dear Robby,
Remember that even though the future seems miles away what you do today will have a lasting impact on your future. However, what you do today will not define who you will become. You will always be re-defining yourself because you need to continue looking deep inside you to find out who you are. Your saddest and happiest moments will always be rewritten. You should learn to accept that these milestones will always change. You will have a lifetime of your best and your worst moments. This learning process is a part of life and it will always continue for as long as you live. Enjoy all that you have today it will be gone tomorrow. Learn to cherish every moment because being 20 is one of the best times of your life. Remember what I said before; your best times will always be re-written. So look inside yourself to lead you into the future.
Sincerely,
Your future self
