Philosophical Thought of the Day
"I tend to live in the past because most of my life is there."
- Herb Caen
Is the past more important then our future? I feel that without our past how would we navigate our future? We would be doomed to make the same mistakes over and over again because we would never learn. Not only is our past necessary in navigating the future; without our past we would be without an identity of who we are. There wouldn't be anything as scary knowing that we cannot remember who we are, where we've been, and who we loved. We should learn to appreciate that without our memories we are nothing. Our past memories are the foundation we build our future upon.
- Robby Silk
What are some past memories that have helped form who you are?
