Philosophical Thought of the Day

Somehow I can’t believe there are any heights that can’t be scaled by a man who knows the secret of making dreams come true. This special secret, it seems to me, can be summarized in four Cs. They are Curiosity, Confidence, Courage, and Constancy and the greatest of these is Confidence. When you believe a thing, believe it all the way, implicitly and unquestionably.

I try to live my life as a glass half full kind of guy. It's a simply way to live, but it is an incredibly powerful way to live. I feel that people often understate the power of the mind, and fail to realize how truly influential it can be. There isn't a great divide between the successful, and those that wish they were. Almost everyone is born smart enough, strong enough, and capable enough to achieve our own inner genius. It's a calling that we are all born with, but tragically the majority don't fully realize. It's not simply an innate ability, but rather things far more simple...hard work and persistence. If you're living with regrets simply ask yourself why? Then before you start listing all the reasons why you can't find the one reason that says you can, and run with it never looking back again. The hardest step is the first one, followed by the first time you fail, then the second, the third, etc... But one day after countless hours of hard work you will surprise yourself. You will succeed, and when you do it will be sweeter than anything you thought possible.

Take the time and read about successful pioneers, and see how long and hard their journey's really were. We are a culture obsessed with "overnight successes", and get rich quick schemes. True success that captures our imagination doesn't come from these pioneers desires to get rich, but rather by them following their passions to the fullest.
