Philosophical Thought of the Day
In the age of information ignorance is a choice.
- Tupac Shakur
It is no secret that knowledge is true power, and with great knowledge comes freedom if we choose. The freedom to break free of the norm, grab life by the horns, leave the paths less traveled, and blaze new ones. But why do so many people still choose a life that leaves them desiring more? Life is a gift, it's precious, and extremely unique and diverse. We all have the ability to be trailblazers, innovators, and sources of both external and internal motivation. There is nothing more liberating than being inspired, and moved by your own actions and words. In an age of limitless information at our finger tips there are no true excuses. Imagine if the likes of Leonardo DaVinci, Plato, Aristotle, Einstein, or Tesla had the amount of information available to them that we have today there discoveries would have been ten fold.
We live in the most connected and information driven time in the history of our planet. We are talking about a time period that expands over 4.5 billion years, and over this time period the first human civilizations began to appear about 35,000 years ago. We are all actively living and participating in a technological renaissance that will shape the future of mankind forever unlike any other time in both Earth's and human history. This is a much more exciting and important time then most of us realize, and we are all currently present in a time in human history that will forever be studied and looked to. The significance of today is equally if not more important then the industrial revolution time period. So don't under estimate your importance, and your ability to achieve great heights. All of the information you need to get started is literally at the tips of your fingers.
